Celebrating Excellence: Brittany Brumfield and Furaha Mutisya Honored as PHCA Rising Stars
Transitions Healthcare, LLC is proud to share that two of our outstanding team members, Brittany Brumfield from Transitions Healthcare Gettysburg and Furaha “Raha” Mutisya from Transitions Healthcare Shook Home, have been recognized as part of the inaugural class of the Pennsylvania Healthcare Association (PHCA) Rising Stars Awards.
The Rising Stars Awards program was created to celebrate and recognize emerging leaders within Pennsylvania’s long-term care continuum. These individuals demonstrate exceptional skill, unwavering dedication, fresh and innovative perspectives, and a deep passion for improving the lives of the residents they serve.
About the Honorees
Brittany Brumfield, Scheduler at Transitions Healthcare Gettysburg, has made a lasting impact since taking on her role. Known for her ability to manage complex schedules seamlessly while meeting state requirements, Brittany’s problem-solving skills and compassionate nature have earned her respect from her colleagues and residents alike.
Furaha “Raha” Mutisya, a CNA at Transitions Healthcare Shook Home, goes above and beyond for residents and coworkers every day. With his positive attitude, infectious smile, and genuine care for everyone he serves, Raha has built meaningful relationships with residents and is often remembered by name even after they leave the facility.
Honoring Rising Stars
Recipients of the PHCA Rising Stars Award were honored at the first-ever ceremony held in Harrisburg, PA. As part of this prestigious recognition, Brittany and Furaha also participated in a leadership development program, designed to equip these emerging leaders with tools to continue growing in their roles and further enhance their contributions to long-term care.
Their achievements reflect the values of Transitions Healthcare — dedication to excellence, a passion for resident care, and a commitment to leadership and growth.
